Types of certificates
CE-approved materials
CE is a marking scheme from the EU - and is therefore not a certification. The mark shows that the product is compliant with the EU's requirements for health, safety and environmental protection, even if it is produced outside the EU.

Material certificates
A material certificate is a declaration from the supplier that the product is in accordance with the purchase agreement. There are several different types of material certificates:

Types of declarations
Food contact materials
Materials that come into contact with food must fulfil a number of requirements. The requirements ensure that the materials do not release substances into the food in harmful amounts.

REACH
REACH is a law that regulates the use of chemicals within the EU. The aim is to protect people and the environment from harmful substances while ensuring that products in the internal market compete on equal terms.
Some metals and alloys are affected by REACH and you can download the relevant declarations here.
RoHS
RoHS is an EU directive that regulates the use of certain substances within the EU. RoHS aims to make it easier and safer to recycle or scrap products by minimizing the content of harmful substances in products.

Certifications of Alcobra
ISO
Through the Alumeco Group, Alcobra as a company is ISO certified within ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. This means that we are continuously improving within quality, environment and work environment.
